Adv. Velichkov: There is a big fog on how the National Security Service works - 1

In an accident near Varna with an NSO car, in which the co-chairman of the PP Kiril Petkov was also present, another driver was killed.

"I cannot comment on something about which there are still unclear contradictory things. Whether he was moving at 120 km, at 130 km and more, why he was moving at such a speed. Even if someone told him to drive faster, he should follow the limits. The responsibility always lies with the driver of the car. A very tragic accident, unfortunately there was a death. This should not happen and there should also be a debate in the next parliament about how the NSO operates and what control management has over what employees do. People's lives are important, not speed and convenience," said lawyer Velislav Velichkov in the studio of "Day ON AIR".
The lawyer is of the opinion that reforms are needed in the NSO and the service is not working as it should.

"There is a great deal of fog over how the National Guard works. When someone said that there should be deadlines for service reforms, they first disagreed with the deadlines, then with the reforms. Delyan Peevski directly said that he saw no reason for a change in the services. People abroad, foreign intelligence agencies reveal the Russian agents in our country, here the Russian agents are guarding them, and Peevski sees no reason for reform," added Velichkov on Bulgaria ON AIR.

The Law on the Judiciary must be adopted in order for changes to take place, Velichkov is emphatic.

"Reform in the judicial system has not started and there is none at the moment, because everything that was written in the constitutional amendments remained a piece of paper. Until the new constitutional law on the judiciary is adopted, none of these constitutional texts can be implemented. "No one saw whether this reform worked, because GERB and DPS, with friendly efforts, made it so that the Law on the Judiciary was not adopted," commented the guest.
He pointed out that nothing new has come out of the replacement of the chief prosecutor with a new one.

"The prosecutor's office has always been an electoral club. He stroked some on the head with a feather, and hit others on the head. The fact that Geshev was replaced by Sarafov, there is a change of person, everything else remains the same. Even the powers of the Attorney General are the same. The government fell in order not to start the judicial reform, so as not to reveal the group of Martin Bojanov and Pepi "Euro" and not to find out which senior prosecutors, judges of the specialized court, magistrates and policemen play in the mafia", added the lawyer.
